Roger P. Lenertz is the global Director of Power Generation Services and an Executive Vice President within Black & Veatch’s Power business. He is responsible for all aspects of the Power Generation Services business including business strategies, business development, sales, project execution, client management, business operations, industry technology leadership, and P&L results. Power Generation Services has hundreds of ongoing projects employing over 1,000 full time engineers in 12 major offices in eight countries on five continents. He provides leadership for a mature, but growing business. Mr. Lenertz has extensive experience in the power industry on domestic and international projects utilizing various technologies. His career progression has included detailed power plant design, three years of construction resident engineering, management of engineering on major projects, and as the overall project manager (Engineer/Procure/Construct) on a variety of major power projects. He has led the design and implementation of the Six Sigma program in Black & Veatch’s business operations. The Power Generation Services line he currently leads performs many roles on all types of power generation projects around the world.
